FAIR WARNING: we’re all extensively bitchy on this show, this time, and for very good reason. Feel free to skip to the actual news items from NYCC and elsewhere if you don’t want to hear us bitching and yelling about – specifically in this case – Crunchyroll and MAPPA and how they continue to make shortsighted mistakes and decisions within their companies that affect all of us on the outside, but it’s recommended to listen to so that there’s a clear piece of evidence for our continued and collective frustrations with the industry at large. This is also the last show for Andrew for a bit as he will be on his “excursion arc” – aka, a planned vacation trip to Japan for 2 and a half weeks. Wish him and Steph safe travels for their vacation, they’ve earned it.
