Many years ago, people were comparing Attack on Titan to The Walking Dead in tone and structure. Today, those comparisons continue, only… wait, this is how an episode from last year started off. Well, it happened again, in even more stupefying fashion if you can believe it. And to go along with that, we have what’s become an annual tradition at this point: trying to make sense of the Crunchyroll Anime Awards nominations list. But at least we have Discotek Day happening on Monday, and that always makes us feel a little bit better. We also have a rundown of a lot of the dub casts for the winter season, as well as some unfortunate postponements of a few shows from this season, and yet another reason why Crunchyroll’s in-house-only dub mandate was very, very stupid.
