As the spring season gets underway, we’re left with the realization that this season feels… rather light, when compared to the last few. Then again, anything to help us sift out the crap from the quality is fine by us. With that in mind, we have our brief thoughts on the heavy hitters and the low-ballers of the season, along with some news items regarding that 30th anniversary DBZ Blu-ray set, the latest Kickstarter project coming from AnimEigo, Anime Midstream bringing out some more B’t X, and what’s this about the Netflix (acquired) Cowboy Bebop cast? And what’s this about the live-action Akira film FINALLY (maybe) getting started with production?
